Uterine prolapse is a condition where the uterus descends into the vaginal canal due to weakening of the pelvic floor muscles and supporting ligaments. This occurs most commonly in women who have had multiple pregnancies, childbirth trauma, or chronic conditions that increase abdominal pressure.
