Dr. Azael is excellent & fluent in English.
The insurance company is recommending. I go to la joya pdc hospital to get my knees checked out. Can anybody speak whether this is a good hospital that has up-to-date equipment and an orthopaedic doctor please
I've been to La Joya. It's a new hospital and I think quite up to date with equipment.
It's very nice. And with insurance, u will b well taken care of. If we had insurance, it's where we would go
Oh, I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. It's good to even just have these little incidents to try the hospitals out just in case if there's a big incident he'll know where to go right lol .
I just had the worst experience of my life at La joya hospital in pdc . And I even have insurance, but I'm feeling traumatized right now. I will elaborate tomorrow, but I highly recommend avoid it at all. Cost their bullies and liars and I will elaborate more tomorrow.
Find out which hospital the insurance company likes and works well with. That turns out to be important! Amerimed works much better with my insurance company, Metlife Mexico, than Hospiten
Orthopedic Doctors can be found on Doctoralia - you probably went to first aid & they tried to sell you an expensive service My shoulder specialist sits at La Joya - 1000 Pesos for a 1hr consultation & doing the MRIs, one does in Cancun for 2500 pesos per MRI. After that, next to La Joya is a Sports Clinic that has Physiotherapy for around 500 pesos a session & they treat all Athletes from the area. Sorry you had a bad experience. If you walked into the emergency room or first aid & asked for help with *out of country insurance*, they do not give you the help a local here would know how to receive & they do surely want to make money as they see your insurance.
Arthros is a very good orthopedic center and they are affiliated with several different hospitals. Maybe it's worth it to go to them first? https://maps.app.goo.gl/ou9KUvGZ48mZNU7F7
I am a resident here and I have private insurance but what they did was despicable again I'm just traumatized and I will elaborate tomorrow. But they surrounded me they tried to intimidate me, accuse me of not there they weren't paid, and yet I know they were because I spoke to Insurance while I was in the hospital ! And everybody I spoke to the driver on the way to the hospital said don't go the driver Home told me it's bad everybody else knows it's a bad hospital but me live and learn do your research people
Oh, and the reason why I was able to go is because I called my lawyer and my lawyer spoke to them! They are bullies intimidate, and they lie. Be careful where you go.
I had to fight at Hospiten & Amerimed. I think most hospitals are the same here.
That's terrible but they try to keep me they wanted me to even stay the night and all I had was a fall from my knees very capable of walking in and out and I told him I'm not spending the night there. I can come back tomorrow and see the specialistbut they swarmed me. They tried to intimidate me. They have the security there.
Im so sorry to hear that. I thought they were that way with us cause we were private pay.
The medical staff at la joya was great. The admin....bullies, thugs and cruel
Yes, all of that the two doctors that I saw were lovely, but the admin is everything you just said. I spoke to the head of admin very nice man, but he knows what's going on in his hospital. He tried to appease me, but I'm not buying it. He knows exactly what they're doing.
He's just afraid because he knows I'm a resident here that I'm what I'm gonna say and do and guess what she's right I am
Sad. Poor management can destroy a business. They need to fix it. You are doing the right thing.
Yes, unfortunately, I am so shocked and they were laughing. They were enjoying it. I had literally not going to the bathroom in five hours because they put the bars up on the bed so I couldn't get out. They wouldn't remove my IV even though I said, I'm not having any more drugs, I don't need any more drugs. They were really enjoying themselves.
Can you imagine if this was an elderly person I mean, I was freaked out by this and shocked like I said if I didn't get my lawyer on the phone, I don't know how much longer they would've kept me there
Omgggg I am so sorry you experienced that!! Not cool!!! Especially when someone is already weak!!! I’m flabbergasted and I hope they are handled accordingly
