I called and there is no phone menu, it just tells you to dial an extension. I pressed 0, finally reached someone, was put on hold, and after 5 minutes just gave up. I tried going here a couple years ago, it was empty, but I still waited over an hour past my appointment time and was never called back, so just left. They don’t care here. Don’t go.

Worst front office I've ever seen. Minimum 10 minute wait on calls and a very confused staff that seems to not have patients concerns very seriously. Always confusion with this office. We are looking elsewhere. We have been in contact with the office and explained our frustration. I truly believe that there will be changes for the good. Dr Alvarez is a fantastic doctor and his upper management is working hard to correct the problem they were having. We are so happy this is happening because they do have some great people in the office. Its sad how one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. Thank you for listening to us and responding to our concerns.

DR. Alvarez has always been very compassionate and patient with my mother who is 87 years old...his officce staff very helpful and ready to help . We are happy to have found him. Also my husband has been a patient for about 10 years for diabetes and his health is wonderful! Thank you Dr. Alvarez

Dr. Alvarez is a really good doctor. My husband sees him because the VA set it up for him. The blue hair Medical Assistant likes to hold my husband's medication for 3 or 4 days until I call complaining. My husband has diabetes and has really bad neuropathy and anybody who has diabetes knows the pain of neuropathy. The blue hair Medical Assistant refuses to do her job and they really need to get rid of her because she's not helpful at all.

The staff are friendly and upbeat and Dr Ricardo really looks over your results well. I've not had to have any prescriptions filled so far so I don't really know how that goes but i like the way they always seem to have a smile to share. Wait times happen so I'd say bring a book or searchword puzzle😃 maybe share your smile and brighten another patients day too

After 20yrs in the army I never thought I could get worse medical care. This place is a nightmare I have gone to 2 appts and had my labs drawn twice because they did not draw the correct labs. I was promised a call back 3 times now and still nothing. When you go to your appointment you will wait 1+ hrs to get seen and then once you are seen the Dr will rush in and rush out giving you a half ass experience. If I could give negative stars I would

Dr. Alvarez is a great endocrinologist with a wealth of knowledge. He is very attentive and thorough. He explains everything and answers all questions without giving the feeling of rushing. The only complaint is that you will never be seen at the actual time of your appointment but I attribute that to him never getting in a rush with patients. I will gladly wait a little longer for the attention that Dr. Alvarez gives his patients.

I seen some negative reviews, I did not experience any of this, From the Young lady working upfront and The 2 Nurses Mr Freddy and Ms Francine they both was some Caring, Knowledgeable and very Professional, They made sure I was taking good care of, Now for Dr Alvarez, What a great friendly very Knowledgeable with a fantastic Personality, I highly recommend this place for all your Diabetic needs

I have been going to Dr. Alvarez over a year now!!!! He caught a mis-diagnosis my last endo just went along with and had me spending 100s of $$$ for supplies not even needed. Ok There is a bit of a wait when going to appointments however their pamplet for the practice does say to plan out 1-3 ours when scheduled, this is a small family practice PEOPLE!!! This is not corporate and they don’t want billions of your $$ either. I never have receieved a bill for any extra money besides my regular scheduled co-pay. Personally the staff is so nice and Dr. Alvarez himself he helps me a lot even though I am a harded 22 y/o that does not always listens to his treatment plan. He still is never rude and sticks with me, this is a journey. I appreciate this clinic and will gladly drive 30 minutes to ANY appointment💘💘💘. And don’t forget the free Wi-Fi I can use to do school work while waiting.
